Location: Western Canada, Across Canada, Canada
Responsibilities:

Be responsible and proactive in HSE issues that affect the individual, the office/field environment and their customers including in depth knowledge of competition law.
Utilize in depth knowledge in both commercial & technical aspects of the Sector and product group, driving retention and growth through application of commercial and technical expertise delivering measurable value to the customer base.
Deploy above skills in value selling to major prospects (both new and current customers) resulting in strong volume, proceeds and margin growth.
Understand and keep track of changing customer needs and business environments to ensure the most appropriate service providers are assigned to fulfill the customer’s needs.
Develop, update and implement the Account Plan (with B2B colleagues where and when appropriate) covering products, services packages, contracts, and prices for key customers and prospects.
Plan, monitor and achieve individual sales targets and be accountable for the growth of the targeted customers (e.g. sales volume, margin, growth, specific CVP).
Drive accurate forecast information related to new customer wins or changing demands to insure transparency and accuracy for supply chain.
Have an in depth knowledge of the key competitors in the sector or product group and understand their strengths and weaknesses thereby exploiting opportunities arising from these.
Develop new opportunities with prospective customers to acquire new business independently and in conjunction with Shell colleagues.
Manage liability and risk through effective application of the portfolio and services offered by Shell.
Coordination with Supply Chain and Customer Service organizations as necessary.
Be accountable for own development plan to continuously improve competencies.

Requirements:

Lubricants is building a highly professional, commercially focused organization. Leaders with strong commercial skills and experience are critical to achieve our aims of building upon our marketing strength, focusing on key growth markets, strengthening the supply chain organization and achieving the desired Shell market share for Grease. All candidates who are able to demonstrate commerciality, coupled with LAT (Leadership, Accountability and Teamwork) behaviors are encouraged to apply. A good overall understanding and experience of the Lubricants business is desired.
Must have legal authorization to work in Canada on a full-time basis for anyone other then current employer.
Bachelor Degree from an accredited university.
Minimum five years sales experience in Lubricants or technical sales.
Minimum three years working with/for Direct Accounts & Distributers.
Motivated sales professional with proven commercial skill set.
Proven technical & commercial knowledge of Sector and /or Product group.
Strong knowledge of customer sector processes / demands.
Ability to quickly determine critical path for project work.
Analytical skills for problem solving and trouble- shooting applications at customer sites.
Knowledge of Grease applications in the major industry sectors.
Working knowledge of CRM tools Basic understanding of SAP/ERP desirable
